Stand for Yourself Association question to the Lord Mayor of Budapest

Vállald Magad Egyesület - Kovács Tímea

Association submitted to a call for proposals of a Hungarian newspaper the following question to mayor of Budapest. Although our question was selected for the shortlist, and played to the Mayor, he prefered not to answer our question.

Which is also a kind of reply...

Dear Lord Mayor,

I would like to ask what concrete measures will be taken in order to re-establish the celebration of gay pride day without closures and cordons, as it is possible in other Western countries? A day that really would be a celebration, with carnival atmosphere, not a life-threatening mission, a kind of shame thread, as that was typical of the last three years in Budapest.
